Accidents and emergencies occur in transportation and warehouse environments and can result in people being hurt, and even killed. When all employees learn the steps outlined in this course, the potential of an emergency occurring, and more negative outcomes, can be reduced.
Opening by highlighting the range of potential transportation and warehouse environment emergencies, this course shows employees how and why creating and adhering to an effective Emergency Action Plan is vital. Collectively, the six topics in this course – The Planning Process; The Threat of Terrorism; Active Shooter Situations; Your Role in Emergency Planning; Emergency Action Drills: The Process; Emergency Action Drills: Playing Your Part – prepare staff to recognize, assess, respond to, mitigate, and possibly prevent workplace emergencies.
Present this course so all employees throughout the warehouse and transportation environment learn how to anticipate, plan for, and practice warehouse and transportation workplace emergency preparedness to minimize their effect on the jobsite and employees.
