Course Overview

This training explains how OSHA has specific types of fall protection depending on the type of job. There are different types of protection, from harnesses to safety nets, safety lines, and guardrails. The different types of fall protection have to meet OSHA regulations. Falls are not limited to falling off a site, but also cover falls from above onto a person below. PFAS (body harness) requirements are also listed in this training. This is all explained through OSHA regulations. Included is an explanation of all the places when fall protection would be needed, as well as the labeling needed to protect someone from falling through walkways, skylights, and other surfaces.
