Course Overview

Accidents and injuries on job sites can happen anytime, anywhere for a variety of reasons. When they occur, a co-worker is often tasked with being the “first responder” until a trained medical person arrives on the scene. For this reason, building and construction workers need to be trained and educated on the basics of first aid. This course highlights the most common worksite injuries and illnesses and how to treat them; this includes showing workers what they should and should not do when someone is hurt. Use this course to show job site employees how to recognize and treat eye injuries, cuts, burns, abrasions, strains, fractures, sprains, shock, heart attacks, cardiac arrest events, choking, and heat-related illnesses. The more prepared your employees are, the greater chance for good outcomes when an emergency occurs.
