There are so many good ergonomic practices that we couldn’t squeeze every single one of them into this course, but we sure did cover a lot! You’ll learn what you can do to improve your musculoskeletal health before you show up to work, before you start working, and while you’re working. We also cover common warning signs that indicate a potential problem, and we also managed to fit a pool noodle into this one. You’re welcome.
Musculoskeletal conditions are the single leading cause of disability worldwide – in fact, almost 2 billion people suffer from some form of musculoskeletal condition. Some of those issues are caused by factors beyond our control, but some of them are caused by things we can control and easily avoid.
This series will help you discover dozens of simple strategies you can put into practice before, during, and after work to maximize your overall health and reduce both the likelihood and severity of musculoskeletal injury. You’ll also learn how to recognize the signs and symptoms that something might be wrong, and you’ll also get a few laughs along the way.
