Course Overview
If you’ve ever pulled a muscle in your back or neck, you know how painful and debilitating that can be. Maybe you’ve even injured yourself doing something you’ve done a thousand times before. This microlearning explains how most musculoskeletal injuries occur, and how good ergonomics can reduce both the likelihood and severity of a future injury. There may also be some nostalgic 90s references in this one.
Musculoskeletal conditions are the single leading cause of disability worldwide – in fact, almost 2 billion people suffer from some form of musculoskeletal condition. Some of those issues are caused by factors beyond our control, but some of them are caused by things we can control and easily avoid.
This training series will help you discover dozens of simple strategies you can put into practice before, during, and after work to maximize your overall health and reduce both the likelihood and severity of musculoskeletal injury. You’ll also learn how to recognize the signs and symptoms that something might be wrong and get a few laughs along the way.
