Course Overview
To address the large volume of municipal and industrial solid waste generated, the Environmental Protection Agency, or EPA, developed rules and guidelines in the Resource Conservation Recovery Act of 1976, commonly known as RCRA. These regulations give the EPA the authority to control hazardous waste and its generation, transportation, treatment, storage, and disposal. This course explores the key facets of these regulations you must know in order to interact with hazardous waste safely. This RCRA training video instructs employees as to proper classifications for wastes, safe work practices for handling wastes, hazardous waste generator categories, and more. All of this information is critical for your safety, as well as the safety of those around you.
