Course Overview

Warehousing is one of the most dangerous industries to work in. This safety training teaches workers how to prevent the all-too-common injuries caused by overexertion, slips, trips, and forklift accidents.

Viewers are shown the basics of practicing warehouse safety such as wearing Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) like hardhats, goggles, and steel toed boots; clearing clutter; and the safe handling of hazardous materials which can be found in a Safety Data Sheet (SDS).

This course teaches workers how to determine the safest way to handle materials. For example, depending on the size and weight, it explains when a dolly or a forklift is the better choice. For hand carried items, viewers learn practical steps to handle them safely. This training also covers in depth the topics of using pallets and forklifts and working on a loading dock.

Complete this safety training class to learn how to work more safely in a warehouse.
