Course Overview
Workplace violence is much more multifaceted than workers know. This course details the types of violence that can occur every day in all types of industrial environments, and what to do upon recognizing, experiencing, or witnessing one of them. With its focus on the risks, types, and steps to take to prevent workplace violence, this course reflects OSHA’s guidelines for creating and executing a written workplace violence prevention program. From unwanted sexual comments to mockery, threats, and physical assaults, workplace violence incidents, risks, warning signs, and protective and preventive measures are clearly illustrated and explained. Present this course so all employees are prepared and equipped to recognize, report, mitigate, and prevent all forms of workplace violence and its warning signs.
