Avoid Harassment in your Workplace

According to the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission “Prevention is the best tool to eliminate harassment in the workplace. Employers are encouraged to take appropriate steps to prevent and correct unlawful harassment.”
As part of a prevention plan you must communicate to employees what is considered harassment or discrimination. It is also important for everyone to understand the effects of harassment and the importance of maintaining a respectful work environment.

The Video On Demand training course, “Workplace Harassment, Discrimination and Respect (Employee Edition)” provides employees information on how to create a better work environment by eliminating harassment and discrimination.
Stress the importance of respect in your workplace by making a commitment to stop workplace harassment and discrimination.
