Crane Safety – Prevent Accident and Injuries
Has it been awhile since you had training on cranes and lifting devices? It might be time to refresh with Overhead: Cranes, Chains, Slings, and Hoists. As an operator you are responsible for proper use, inspection and maintenance to keep you work area safe. Be sure you’re still following all of the rules.
The 2010 OSHA Crane Safety updates added quite a bit to the 40-year-old crane safety rules. The updates resulted from increased crane related accidents and injuries.
