Avoid Groupthink and Making Bad Decisions as a Team
Have you ever found yourself agreeing with someone just for the sake of agreeing? It’s likely you were in a group or social setting and didn’t want to be the lone dissenter. Sometimes we agree just to get along or we don’t want to viewed as the only person who didn’t agree. It’s important to learn when and how to disagree when you are part of a group.
The training videos “Group Decision Making: How Bad Decisions Are Made” and “Groupthink Examples from History” explore the consequences that can result when someone should have taken a stand against the majority, but didn’t. You learn how to recognize “groupthink” and prevent poor group decisions.
