Fire safety is another workplace concern the Occupational Safety & Health Administration (OSHA) has set standards for. The standards ensure everyone is safe at work. All employees, regardless of industry need to understand fire prevention, types of fire extinguishers and how to use them. Additionally, it is helpful to know the elements of fire, classes of fires and the location of fire extinguishers.
