How To Cope With Work-Related Stress

The National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH) says “Job stress can be defined as the harmful physical and emotional responses that occur when the requirements of the job do not match the capabilities, resources, or needs of the worker. Job stress can lead to poor health and even injury.”  Poorly managed stress hinders our ability to maintain a health lifestyle, mentally, physically, and emotionally.
Stress happens, but if we learn to identify when our bodies are experiencing negative stress, the cause can be uncovered, if it’s not obvious. This allows us to work out a plan to reduce stress. The training video “Workplace Stress” takes you through the process from recognition to reduction.
